Kiss Me Deadly

"Kiss Me Deadly" aka "the delphi effect"...I watched this movie the other night, it was really good for a lower budget/gay spy thriller. Actual, it may be the only gay spy thriller out there. When you think gay spy you think "comedy" but it wasn't, it very serious like a typical mainstream suspense movie would be, which was really refreshing. Just with a twist that the hero happens to be gay. Studly Robert Gant (queer as folk) plays Jacob Keane, a former cold war spy who has been living quietly since leaving the spy biz, with his daughter and boyfriend. Shannen Doherty as Marta his former spy partner suddenly comes back into his life with her memory erased and assassins now after her and Jacob. From that moment on they're running for their lives with Jacob forced out of retirement and back in the spy game, trying to figure out who wants them dead. See trailer... ...with some minor male nudity at the bathes, and a few tender moments with the boyfriend...
...did I also mention Rugby superstar (and out and proud) Ian Roberts plays one of the thugs on Jacobs tail? Ian does a good job as a bad guy again, like he did as one of Lex Luthor's thugs in "Superman Returns." He's just HUGE in size...
...ahhh but, Robert is easy on the eyes too. Like he was in "queer as folk" below. Le sigh :)
