...I'd like to see a modern update to this story with one small change...Lois Lane gets changed into a man, and asks Supers the same question "Will you marry me just the way I am?" She's still Lois after all...(ok, ok, I know they've already been married and divorced) but you get the point. DC and Marvel used to be leaders in stories about social change and getting teens to think. Marvel has a few gay heroes who are very out. But at DC, the men are on the down low, and having a lesbian Batwoman fulfilling teenage boys and their "girl on girl" wet dreams is not leading the way---it's tits and ass to sell comics. Not social change. Archie is doing a much better job.
