Happy 2 Year Blog-versary!...

2 Years ago today I started this lil' blog. I'd been doing heromorphic art for a few years just for fun and posting them at various online groups and sites. And although I also do other types of artwork, it's always the superhero artwork that gets the most responses from people. So I started this blog, after having many requests to see more of my hero art, or all of my hero artwork together in one place. It was just my artwork and fan fiction in the beginning and I added new hero art as I finished them. But my free time became limited as my social life grew and there would be lengthy gaps between new art postings. So I started uploading hero related photos/comic art, etc to keep everyone entertained between my distant art posts. But with more and more of my free time being taken by other non hero art projects and living life in general---the hero related photo/comic type of postings took over the blog. And now it's all you see and I barely do any hero art except for a few friends here and there. Many times I've debated about ending the blog for many reasons---the time it takes to post, the haters in my life (who daily read the blog--they can't help it, they just love to hate and it makes them forget how sad and empty they're own lives are), and there were also moments of having no creativity or just plain old boredom. But something always keeps me going and posting. As of today I've done 1033 posts, and the blog has had well over the 138000 visitors (as I didn't have the visitor counter the first year.) And I've gotten to know some of those visitors who stopped to comment, follow, link me, email or say hello. To them I say "thank you." I guess I'm lucky I started because people wanted more hero art---what if they wanted more cloud and sky art? Would I now be doing a blog about CLOUDS?!?! Maybe. Mmm, Probably not. Well anyway, so for the blog-versary, I'm reposting a few of my "greatest hits" of my hero artwork for you guys---just to remind everybody where this blog began and how it's gone 100% completely off course. Will I do more hero art this year? Who knows? But I think I have at least another year of hero blogging within me.

Congrats and Happy Anniversary! I understand feeling frustrated sometimes with the pressure of blogging. I appreciate this blog as is, even if you aren't showcasing your own artwork very frequently. Glad to have you sticking around! Too many good blogs just come and go.
