What's all this fuss about Adam Lambert's new album cover? I think it's hilarious retro fun. I'm not a huge fan but, this guy hasn't been anything but himself---on his own terms---since American Idol. He never denied who he was--it was clear from the beginning--but played coy for the press because they were being silly and HAD TO KNOW so they could put him in a gay labeled box. When who cares? It's supposed to be about his singing talent isn't it? Anyway, the album cover just has "in your face balls" and is total Sheena Easten at her prime from the 1980's. Besides, who even sees album covers anymore? Everyone downloads. It's not like the 80's when you actually had to buy a vinyl record in a 14 x 14 inch album sleeve. Here's what Adam had to say about the whole thing on twitter: "Thank you to those who appreciate and understand that the album cover is deliberately campy. It's an omage (sic) to the past. It IS ridiculous. For those that don't get it: oh well... Glad to have gotten your attention"
"*homage. When's Twitter adding spell check? "
