...the filming of new episodes has begun! They're back. Can't wait to see what they're up to. Is it me, or is Edina starting to look like Endora from Bewitched? Doesn't matter, just keep filming please. :)
...The Virginia/DC/Metro area had it's worst quake in the last 67 years yesterday. The East coast isn't used to earthquakes, nor are the buildings designed with quakes in mind. It was short and mainly just rumbled and shook everything, and scared the crap out of everybody who felt it. Knocking pictures off walls and items from shelves...see below for a clean up on aisle 3 in Virginia...
...I personally blame the Quakemaster. Batman should really do something about him...
...until then, everybody back to cleaning up the mess...
..."Get this party started" was originally by Pink but, a few years ago 3 time Bond theme singer, the great Shirley Bassey made this song her own...
...Shirley's version of "Get the party started" was first previewed in a Bond themed X-mas "M&S" commercial. M&S (Marks and Spencer) is a famous store chain in Europe with over 100 years of history and this stylish and smart commercial (featuring Twiggy and other models) has become a classic...
...This was followed with the release of the song on her newest album and the fantastic video...
...Daniel Craig, the current James Bond has asked repeatedly for producers to bring Shirley back for a 4th time to sing the theme song to his Bond movies. But so far, they haven't. Instead we've had forgetable themes for the last two Bond films by the White Stripes and Alicia Keys. Which is a shame, since neither themes made any impact on the charts or with fans, and yet Shirley Bassey has a history with the films and still sells out stadiums across the globe. And is still a muse for other singers and artists. Here is an example, a remix of her classic Bond theme "Diamonds are Forever"...
