Film Producer Dino De Laurentiis has died...

...he was 91. De Laurentiis produced over 100 films including...Dune, Army of Darkness, Serpico, Three days of the Condor, Nights in Cabiria, Death Wish, King Kong, Halloween II, Firestarter, Dead Zone, Silver Bullet, Cat's Eye, Blue Velvet, Orca and Bound. But it's his following five films productions that made me want to pay a small tribute post. Because they are completely entertaining, wildly fun, guilty pleasures. They are....Conan the Barbarian, Barbarella, Flash Gordon, Red Sonja and Conan the Destroyer. I should also point out that all five titles are currently either filming an updated remake or being developed for a future film franchise. Good work by De Laurentiis.
