...or my other favorite---the short hairdo/black one piece/cat tail costume from the 70s. Many do not like this costume but, I do. Here's why, the ears/mask were combined as one, the short hairdo was on purpose to give her face cat whisker like points near her cheeks to make her look even more like a cat. the gloves had visible claws giving a certain menace to them, she had a freakin TAIL for once, and the pirate/buckle boots gave her a witch/wench type quality to the look. And once you add a cat-o-nine tails whip---she was was quite an S&M dominatrix fright. This costume was used in the 70s during a time when the romance between Catwoman and Batman was gone. No more miss nice pussy. This Catwoman didn't come to play...
...Oh well. But it should be noted this look was recently used to much fan delight in an episode of "Batman, Brave and the Bold." Where it got much praise. I think it may be a costume that works better in motion than it does standing still. But no matter. They've made their choice for the movie, and it's clearly "the Avengers Emma Peel: the 2012 version." Poor Emma, the most ripped off character ever ;)
